Animals (dead pets and other carcasses)
Deceased animals need to be disposed of in a timely and appropriate manner. Do not put them in a rubbish or recycling bin.
Disposal options
- Small pets (mice, goldfish, and guinea pigs) can be placed in compost or worm farms or buried in the garden.
- Contact a local vet for burial and disposal options.
- Dead pets and other animals can only be accepted at the Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre with prior notification. Special burial form will need to be completed. Fees apply.
