Woden Active Travel Improvements

Project description

We’re creating more opportunities to get out of the car and jump on your bike in the Woden Town Centre. A new protected cycleway will be built from Launceston Street, along Furzer Street, Corinna Street and onto Callam Street. This will separate cyclists from both pedestrians and other road users creating a safer and more efficient commute through the Woden Town Centre. There will be minor changes to traffic flow to improve safety, including two short one-way traffic sections in Corinna Street and Furzer Street. This project will also bring more life to the Town Centre through additional soft landscape planting.
