Day Programs

Day Programs & Visits

Birrigai is happy to accommodate day excursions to our wonderful bush site on Tidbinbilla Road. Our Teaching Faculty work with you to design a day program to suit your outcomes and needs, and can structure your program to cover Australian Heritage, Indigenous Education, Environmental and Sustainability Education or Outdoor Adventure.

We have a range of catering options to suit day visits. Consider adding lunch to your program and experience Birrigai’s fantastic menu, or stay with us longer and enjoy dinner prepared by our fully qualified Chef. Contact us for more details.

Facilities Hire

Birrigai welcomes schools to visit for the day and make use of our facilities, whether it’s to run a leadership planning day with your senior students in our conference room, or a Band Workshop in our hall, we have a space to suit your needs. Catering is also available, ensuring you can focus on your program whilst you’re with us.

Teddy Bears Picnic (Pre - K)

Traditionally run at the Australian National Botanic Gardens for kindergarten students, children bring their teddy bears to help them learn what animals need to survive in the bush. Students play games and are taken on a bushwalk using their senses to explore the bush, culminating with a picnic and a story exploring how trees provide us with the needs of life.
