Veterinary practitioners planning to practice veterinary science outside the ACT should contact the local registration authority to determine requirements and processes for registration or licensing in that jurisdiction.
The local registration authority may ask that you request the ACT to send a Letter of Professional Standing (LOPS) directly to them. The LOPS will include:
You can apply for a LOPS online through Access Canberra. Alternatively you may download a request form and send it to the Board secretariat at TCCS.email@example.com for processing. Once completed, the LOPS will be sent direct to the nominated jurisdiction.
The preparation of a LOPS attracts a fee which is detailed on the current fee schedule. A separate fee will be charged for each LOPS request.
