Work along Paddy’s River Road

Over the next month, ACT Parks and Conservation in conjunction with Roads ACT, will be conducting work to improve the condition on Paddy's River Road and Brindabella Road. The works to be undertaken will include, but are not limited to, weed removal, weed spraying, grass cutting, tree pruning and/or improvements to line of sight.

During this work, there will be machinery and personnel working on and around the road edges. Traffic control devices will be in place for the duration of the work, and marked speed limits will be reduced to 40km/hr where works are underway. Motorists and cyclists are encouraged to seek alternate routes where practical.

Works on Paddy's River Road will be undertaken from Cotter Avenue south through to Discovery Road near Tidbinbilla (both directions). It is expected that works will be complete on Paddy's River Road by mid-October. Works on Brindabella Road will be undertaken between East West Road and Blue Range Road (both directions). It is expected that works will be complete on Brindabella Road by the end of October.
