Tree Damage Claim Procedures

City Services administers procedures for dealing with public claims of reimbursement when a tree on public land is suspected of causing damage to private property.

These claims procedures must be followed before a claim for reimbursement can be considered. Each claim request is assessed on its merits by a qualified staff member and if found to be legitimate, costs associated with repairs may be reimbursed.
