All assets handed over to the Territory have to be designed and constructed in accordance with relevant specifications, guidelines, codes and content of post-development approval submissions.
Asset Acceptance certifies detailed design drawings and documentation, submitted by the developer, as complying with TAMS’ requirements and fit for purpose.
Asset Acceptance certifies that the work was completed to the satisfaction of TAMS, is fit for use and acceptable for transfer to TAMS for ongoing maintenance. The assets are placed into the defect liability period.
Soft Landscape Consolidation
Asset Acceptance certifies that the soft landscape works (greenery) are at a satisfactory level to place the works onto consolidation for a period of at least 13 weeks.
Soft Landscape Handover
Assets are transferred from the developer to TAMS at the end of the consolidation period for ongoing maintenance.
At the end of the defects liability period, Asset Acceptance certifies that all rectification work has been satisfactorily completed.
